The blocks and specs are the same in my 150 HP as the 175 HP. What does it take to get the other 25 HP out of my 150. This winter I plan to take off the carbs and clean them . Is the difference just a jet or is it throat bore or is there more to it?
Great question..I would like to know the answer to this question also as I have the GL model. I was told my GL model has 165 HP at the prop. I am still having problems with cranking and idle..but once I open it up it runs perfect...maybe my idle mixture screws need adjusting.
