I can get the engine to turn over and start, but it only runs for 5-10 seconds and cuts off. I can't get it to start up again without re-priming the fuel. Then, it starts up agin for 5-10 seconds and cuts out.
Try choking when u start it and see if it will stay running while holding the choke it may need cleaned out try reving it up a little too it might be cold and need a good warm up get some carb cleaner may need someone to pump the pump to see if it will stay running if u keep the bulb pumped
When you go to prime to the bulb is it hard or did it go soft or even flat? If its staying firm my guess would be fuel pump. But start with the easiest pick up a new few primer and try that. If no luck there check your vent line for your tank and the pick up tube on the tank. Easiest way to narrow it down is a portable tank the like red ones from Walmart and new primer and if that doesn't resolve the issue move on the the tougher tasks like carbs and fuel pump.
