1993 vs 1994 thru 2001 Johnson 9.9/15 Electric start Stator

What is the difference between a 1993 and 1994 stator for an electric start 9.9/15hp motor?

P/N 0585087 is listed from 1994 thru 2001, but for one year 1993, the P/N is 0584755.
The plate the stator mounts to is P/N 0584781 and is listed for 1993 thru 2001 so the mouting of the stator did not change between 1993 and 1994.
The wires are also all the same between the 1993 and 1994 (total #, colors)

I ask b/c I have a 2000 9.9 and am adding electric start and have found a 1993 stator. Can it be used on my 2000 motor?
(I already have a 1998 electric start flywheel,starter,and rectifier)

marine engine dot com shows the stator p/n 0584755 was succeeded by p/n 0585087,
so they should be compatible.
