My 93 tracker was stuck in forward gear prompting me to disassemble the concealed side mount controls. Upon disassembly, I noticed that the shift cable outer sheath was able to move freely through the cable anchor due to the ribbed plastic caps within the cable anchor being stripped and unable to lock into the grooves on the shift cable.
I am able to find the part numbers for the cable anchor housing (126026) and the metal anchor (126025), but I can't seem to find a part number/listing for the plastic inserts themselves.
Does anyone know a way to order either a complete anchor assembly or just the pieces I need? Or is there a viable way to retrofit a different style cable clamp?
