1993 Reinell 196brxl fuel tank cap

Good evening fellas i have just recently purchased a 1993 Reinell 196Brxl don't know much about it the fuel gauge isn't working don't know which one to get dint know where to get a manual
it has the omc 5.0 cobra engine fuel tank is in the belly need some help finding some specs please help thanks in advance

There should be access to the top of the fuel tank, perhaps via a hatch in the ski-locker or the cockpit sole. On the top of the tank near the fuel sender, there should be a certification label for the tank, which will include the capacity of the tank.

90% of the time, a fuel gauge not reading is corrosion under the dash or on the pink wire.

troubleshoot before spending money

Also loose wires and or corrosion or gunk creating a poor connection right at the sender unit on top of the tank. Had to cleanup many over my years of boating.
