Tried putting boat in the water today.
Problems...
It ranges from just cranking...all the way to starting and running for 10 seconds. New plugs, etc.
I thought I flooded it because it started the first try of the day and then cut out after 20 seconds and wouldn't start anymore.
Then would only start periodically for 10 sec of so every 20 tries.
I didn't want to burn up the starter or anything.
Mechanic said he will check out ignition parts such as stator, etc.
What could be wrong? Any experience?
