Hi all,
I am in need of some information and hope someone can help. I have a 1993 Crownline 196 with a 5.7 Mercruiser. The boat was rotted from stem to stern after being trailer sunk many times. I stripped the hull to bare fiberglass and took tons of pictures and measurements. Everything was going smoothly until it came time to build/install the engine beds. My computer crashed, and took with it all my pictures and measurements. Does anyone have the same boat, and can measure the height of their beds for me? I have all the other information still from a scrap of paper. Just missing the height.
I am trying to avoid having to simulate installing the engine so I can measure them. Quite honestly I am worried about installing the engine. I can replace a car engine all day long, but getting this much weight up that high with the possibility of destroying all my work is daunting. I would rather just do it one time, and call it good.
Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
