my low hours 60hp overheated, temp. sw popped, but did not reset. Replaced sw. seemed ok...starts great boggs under load now. compression is good, new plugs, ample spark. Any thoughts?

I just changed one of the coils, it read 900 ohms and was out of spec and changed the plug wires. On the hose seems like no change but haven't put in pond yet. Sounds the same, slight missing. Slow to rev up but gets there. Does spark advance only function well under load? Reaching here...
