After a weekend of trouble shooting i've come to you for HELP! I have a 1993 5.7 Mercruiser aplha 1 gen II ( thunderbolt IV) that wont start. It ran perfect 4 days ago! It turns over great and the battery is new and fully charged. I have no spark at the coil. I have good fuel at the carb. I have replaced: coil, distributer cap, rotor, sensor, plugs. (plug wires were out of stock) I have the manuals and know i need 12 v at the coil, I have nothing. What should I look at next? Thanks

Have you checked the ECM gizmo on the backside of the distributor?

I believe your coil gets 12v from the post on the starter, or the starter assist solenoid. Maybe try cleaning up all those connections and see if the problem continues.
