Looks to me like the thermistor-switch that closes when the engine overheats, this connect to the kill-circuitOk , circled in yellow is the wire in question. Where/what does it connect to?
I can't find it on any of wiring diagrams anywhere lol.

YES!! you're absolutely right!!That is the thermoswitch, but I doubt it goes to the kill switch. Rather It usually goes to the overheat warning horn. The Thermoswitch wire is Tan and Green it attaches to a tan and Blue wire that goes to the #3 plug that goes to the front. Usually there is a horn either in the binnacle or under/in the dash. This switch grounds the negative side of the horn, The other side goes to the + 12 volts supply.
