Be careful not to let the engine run faster than around 1050 RPM during warmup or your QuikStart will disengage; that will cause it to run rough until it warms up.
You could also check your recirculation check valves if the initial warmup is accompanied by more than normal smoke.
Are you using Carbon Guard or similar additive in your gas? If not you should.
