After running for about 10 minutes the Oil warning sounds (beep beep beep ?.).
I checked the oil level in the engine reserve and it is full. I?ve also bled the lines.
Let the engine rest for a while and restart it, it runs for about 10 minutes with no warning, then the warning starts.

I'm in toward the end of diagnosing the problem. I?m following the manual in the section where ?Warning Horn Sounds when engine is running and Oil Level in Engine Reservoir is full?. So far everything is ok. My next step is to test the drive system of the oil injection pump. But I need to go out and buy a separate small gas tank to mix oil in it for the test.

Can anyone help me with this problem? Why would the outboard run for a while and then start having problems. Seems like it would start right away.

Thanks for your help.

A worn drive gear can skip on occasion. But before you look into that, the reservior on the motor has to be absolutely full to the point of overflowing. As soon as the level drops out of the neck, intermittent warnings occur.
