1992 V4 120 hp prop

I have a 13 1/2 x 22 pitch prop boat will run about 54 mph but is slow out of hole. Can any one tell me what came stock on the boat? Or what pitch would
help out of hole and keep top end? Motor is 120 V4 Johnson 1992 model boat is Javelin 17 foot.

Guessing you have a small Raker prop from your description but could be a Lightning Jr also. If you're slow out of the hole we'd guess your top rpm is fairly low. If so the motor may be a little on the low side, especially if it's not on a jakplate.

Lots of guessing without more info. Javelin is a pretty good hull and generally benifits from props with bow lift.

Don't know what prop you actually have but if set up is optimum then consider porting it.
