We'll here are a couple pictures of the new project just got her home. Only thing I know for sure is there are a few small holes in the hull I can get to from both sides fairly easy. Have not cked transom and stringers but I will.

LOL!!! That didn't take long. Nice deep V and I like the bow rail. The scuppers are below the bottom paint...Hmmm...it's like looking into the future :) Can't wait to see the plan.

Absolutely welcome aboard.
Jc So far plan is to remove the 150 I think its to small, and then check for the dreaded rot. Going to redo the trailer I am not sure what they did with this pictures to come .

I think Stratos quit using wood in the mid to late 90's,......

I think yours is rated for a 225 hp,.....

That would make a great fishing boat!!

Thanks teamster it's rated for 300hp
Thanks Kc
Well wood there are 4 small impact cracks in the hull good news is I can get to both side without any damage to boat. I will have to rewire it, also it came with that 150hp johnson that I feel is to small. I have not drilled any holes yet, floor seems solid I have to take off the hard top and windshield to get it in the garage.

A 300hp,.........Very cool,...............

That makes it the Bluewater model of the 2250,............

Was it a government owned boat???,...............Looks like park ranger green,.........

If it's rated for a 300 that's what I would want on it,....

Make for a awesome Erie rig,.........

image_278167.jpg image_278168.jpg PB100009_zps2176b9d4.jpg image_278169.jpg I believe I can unscrew this area and remove it to expose the transom. I may have to loosen the cap but if I do indeed need to replace the transom this will make it easier

Overall I'd say she appears to be in pretty good shape. You'll know more as you investigate more. Keep us posted and we'll be there as needed! I really like the look of her!!!

So I measured my tranom from the top (where the motor hangs on ) to the bottom of boat it measures 28" Should I be looking for a 25" or 30" motor
