Hi everyone. Brand new boat owner here. My Dad just passed and left me with his boat. Make and model are in the title. It's been sitting for 7 years. He was going to recarpet it and then never got around to doing it. Im not even sure where all the carpets go.. i cant find any images of this models interior. I plan to have the leather re upholstered too. But i digress..
When hosing down and scrubbing the deck that had tree debrees, mud, plants growing, mold and mildew (still winging working on that) the center compartment was filling with water and not draining. I had to use a shop vac to suck out the muddy water. I figured there was a drain that was clogged. But according to these inside pictures. There is no drain! Some outside pictures show 2 holes and the compartment door. Im pretty certain the big hole is supposed to have a drain cover, but the smaller hole with 4 screw holes around it is questionable. The images with the black hose penetrating the fiberglass are the under small hole nearest to the back of the boat. The ones with the hose squeezed between the front live well above it and the bottom area are front and center with the boat below the large hole what i believe should have a drain cover. The black hose i am pretty certain is the drain plumbing for the front live well.
There also appears to be a slit in the front where the hose is squeezed through. Im not sure if there is a purpose for that? Or if its just the way its built... i also need to know if the front of the boat needs to be refilled with foam and how much. Mice have shredded everything it seems. Its just a bunch of ripped bits of foam i vacuumed out.
Any insight?
