On a cold morning(32 deg.) took boat out on lake started up as usual its always a little cold blooded, ran fine at WOT for 10 minutes stop fished for a hour then went to start it didnt crank up right away (it usually does) ran another 10 min across lake shut it down and then no start at all. Turns over fine plugs fire (maybe too weak?) not sure what the spark should look like on surface gap plugs, it has multiple small blue sparks not as strong as a regular plug with a gap, Compression 150 on both cyl, top piston at TDC matches timming mark

Any ideas??

ThanX

Welcome to iboats mred3.

Best to check the spark with a tester, or by jumping the spark from the plug to the block. It should jump a 7/16 " gap.

Compression is good.

How is the fuel?
Fresh? No water in it?
Does the primer bulb get firm when you squeeze it?

When it is that cold you might be getting ice in fuel lines or carb.

tester does not light up period, put a non surface fire sparkplug for a visual check and it was real weak looking spark. fuel is good no water. Bulb stays pumped up. So What would be your suggests to replace since I dont have the suggested tester in the manual? Stator, Switch or ?
