post exactly the issue from time you turn your battery on til it dies,also if boat ran receintly ,are u new owner,but,if it dies when you let key back to run position its likely your key switch
hi everyone! thanks for the replies.i just checked for spark and found spark to be inermittent.i turn the key to start and it just turns over no start.turn key off then try to start again and engine starts but dies immidiatley i replaced key switch and checked wiring.all ok but still the same problem.maybe the cdi or stator?????
It could be just about anything and the parts are too expensive to just start throwing at it. Invest in the OEM manual and use the troubleshooting procedures to find the problem.
