1992 Deck Boat Restoration

I have a 1992 Hurricane Fun Deck that I am restoring. I need to takethe deck off to replace the wood floor and some of the other wood. I have everything stripped down and every screw out. The motor, of course, is off as well..I can not get the deck to release from the hull.
The mfg told me there was a putty used when it was built. Can anyone help m e with advice on how to seperate?
