It's a 30 yr. old boat, which if well maintained is fine. A 30 yr old boat that was taken care of such as frequent oil changes, tune ups, drive system maintained & the interior protected from the elements is better then a 5 yr. old boat that was neglected. That being said I would check the deck, stringers & transom for rot & water intrusion which can be very expensive & time consuming to repair. A sea trial is a must & make sure all the paperwork is in order including clear title, etc.
What he said. The driveline is robust. But with that age look for rot. If the boat has been left uncovered walk away.
