I been having a problem for the past two fishing seasons every once in a while I lose RPM when I am crusing. My motor running 4800 rpm about 30 mph will drop down to 2200 rpm on its own. It is not nissing, it just loses power. I will leave it under load like that for any where's from 30 sec. to 2 mins. then the motor will lick in and run fine until it decides to do it again. When this happens you can stop the boat and go to netural, it revs up fine, shut off and starts up like normal. Put power to the boat and wait until it licks in. <br />Things I've done: Changed Stater, CDI Brain Box, Coils, all new gas hoses, filters etc. plugs. When I bring it to the marine shop every thing tests out good. ANYONE out their got any ideas would be very much appreciated.

There's usually a screen on the end of tank pickup tubes that clogs or gets water logged ... fuel bulbs can disentigrate from the inside ... and there's a screen on the fuel pump.
