I fish quite often and require a lot from my starting battery. It runs two fish finders, navigations lights, live well, etc..., and needs to be charged every two to three trips. I've checked the battery mutliple times (no problems) and replaced the voltage regulator, but the battery still has to be charged. It still has the original stator, which I'm assuming is the 9 amp and not the 16 amp. Has anyone swapped out the 9 amp stator for the 16 amp???? Does the voltage regulator need to be changed as well????
