1992 40 hp force problems

anyone please help, i have a 1992c 40 hp force outboard and the stator is bad. i cant seem to find a new one. any suggestions. <br />thanks

Shawn,<br />unless you need more charging power stay with black stator they are redesigned and we are finding them to be more dependable than the red stators. if anyone tells you different the red stator comes with a one yr warranty and the black comes with a two yr warranty. thanks, bret<br /><br /> If you need further assistance please email me @ forcepower01@yahoo.com.
