1992 25HP Johnson #J25RLEND rewind starter

I need some help I have read over my manual and I can not understand what I am doing wrong. The manual I have is one that cover a lot of motor including mine and sometimes it is hard to find what I need in it. The problem I was having over the summer was the recoil had a hard time recoiling my pull rope so now that it is the off season I took it apart cleaned it out and now it recoils great so I installet it to the motor and now it will not catch the flywheel. I know it must have something to do with the pawl starter I just do not know what it is. I have tried to move them around switch the springs I am just at a loss right now could somebody send me down the right path on this.

Fixed i finaly got it i just kept switching the springs around till i got it to work. Word to the wise take a picture before taking things apart.
