I installed a remote oil tank to my yamaha 130 1991 two stroke outboard. I purchased it used it runs great but the power head oil tank is too small. The secondary tank seems plug and play, but it''s not sending oil to the primary under cowling tank. Once the ignition is switched on, it's turning the pump on to prime the lines, but it doesn't respond to the emergency switch nor level of oil in the smaller tank. I've been researching, I replaced the control unit switch, and I'm waiting on a new oil level gauge for the small tank. But, there's a few wires on the starboard side of the motor that are disconnected, I'm wondering if they're not planning some part. I know a few lead to the trim switch, and there's a switch that prevents oil pump operation when motor is trimmed up. But I don't know what any of the colors are corresponding to? Does anyone know what colors signify what? Have any help in the topic. Thanks, and much appreciated!!!
