Hello, back in 2017 my son found a soft spot in the floor of the Glastron 1900 we had bought 3 years before. So in the spring of 2018 I took out the seats and ripped up the carpet and found lots of rot. So pulled up the decking and found that someone had already been into the floor. Found the the main stringers had rotten in the middle of the boat but towards the transom where I drilled through the fiberglass caps fresh wood came out on the drill bit... so may have been nievie but I left it and spliced in new stringers. Found that the motor mounts were all rotted out. So came up with a plan of using a pourable transom putty and 2x4's to fill the existing fiberglass cavities. Beaded the new stringers and ribs with peanut butter, then used woven roving and capped the striggers but did not do each rib.... would still be there. Used 1/2 M Grade plywood put chopstrand mat on the top and bottom of each piece. Used construction adhesive and screws to secure the deck to the stringers. I drilled 1-1/2 holes in the ribs and the deck for foam to work its way through. Then put woven roving down on the decking, came down the sides of the boat and out onto the floor a foot with woven roving then put woven roving in between the side pieces, sanded the edges down and put chop strand down one last time. Sanded high spots used peanut butter and installed two raised pieces for the seat pedestals. And covered them with chop strand. After all sanding was done rolled on gelcoat on the floor and the bench frame that was built similar to the floor. This re floor is my first attempt at anything like this so there was lots of mistakes and learning done. Took it to the lake yesterday it sits it the water nicely ... but has an issue that is most likley due to sitting for four years... so now I am troubleshooting a fuel issue. But once I get that ironed out can't wait to get this girl out ripping on the water.

After several trips to the lake, I got the fuel issue figured out. Had this build up almost all the way around the sealing surface of the fuel/water separator filter and I think there was an issue with the anti siphon valve. Had it out yesterday and it ran perfectly. ... Its been a long road with this project... I'm so glad that it's finally ready to go.
