When I'm loading the boat onto the trailer I keep the motor raised past the trim into the "tilt" range to keep from dragging the prop on the concrete, the prop is in the water just far enough for the water pump to pick up water. Whenever I give it throttle the motor drops down to the vertical position again. the PTT works fine otherwise with no sign of struggle or hesitation while raising/lowering the motor any other time except when trailering the boat as described above, any suggestion or advice would be appreciated. Is this a bad idea in general? Could it be past the limitations of the tilt? I learned this technique from other boaters in my club so I have alot of butt to kick if thats the case. TIA
