need hp rating for 1991 evenrude 200 limited edition mod# E200STLESE also having over heating problems when ideling done replaced water pump pulled thermostats looked good both have small hole in bottom corners of gaskets also what kinda water pressure should it have all cyl have 75LBS of compression

buzzer goes off<br />let it set 15 min then is fine if you idel buzzer goes off

the buzzer might be at fault. can you touch the engine near the cylinder area, you should be able to hold your hand there for a few secs. if its over heating, your not going to even get close to touching it and you'll prob smell burning. maybe you'll want to get another opinion on such a "expensive" opinion, but my black max oil sending unit used to drive me crazy.<br /><br />if it is peeing and it seems hotter then it should, it could have flaking and crosion inside the engine. i run mine in a trashcan ocasionally with prestone cleaner.

could low water pickup have any thing to do with over heating can this engine run without thermostats
