1991 Bayliner Capri Bowrider 15 foot

Looking to replace the bowrider seat upholstery on a 15-foot 1991 Bayliner Capri. Have already replaced the other seats. I've done a search for this in the forums, but haven't found any complete instructions or recommendations where to purchase the material. I'd like to do this myself and I don't see any problem doing it as long as I have detailed instructions. Do I have to match the exact Bayliner year and model or can I use instructions for any Bayliner bowrider? I can post a picture of the boat if that will help. Also, want to purchase a bimini top and boat cover. Any suggestions where to look for that (other than your Bayliner dealer)? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi I also have a bayliner capri 15 my boat is a 89 with a 50hp and i found the vinal at a place called Jo-Ann fabrics they have a huge slection of vinal. I recovered the seats myself and it was not that hard.

I got all My Marine vinyl supplies from here... items in Trimjobber Canvas Vinyl and Fabric store on eBay!

Make sure and use Marine Thread. There are several good upholstery threads on the forum with videos etc. Just do an advanced searched for Upholstery and you'll find them.

I would highly recommend buying your marine vinyl online from a good source with quality material. I used the "marine vinyl" from JoAnn fabrics to recover the seats im my Jeep last year and it scrapes and tears very very easily. Recently, I bought some marine vinyl from a company on eBay, and it was very heavy duty, much more of what I would expect for the beating boat upholstery takes...
