1991 70 VRO evinrude problem

Having problem with motor. Cranks up and idle's great, for about 2 min. Then buzzer comes on, then off and motor dies. I changed plugs, VRO to premix, cleaned carbs and changed fuel tanks. Someone said it could be the Stator Coil or power pack. I alway's heard that once the power pack goes out, its out. I'm so lost with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What do you do to restart?
What is the buzzer...steady or 1\2 second on\off
did you cap the oil in hose??

It takes about 15 min. to restart, but acts like its flooded. It is 1/2 sec beeps. I cut the oil line and capped off before motor. I do not have a thermostat. I unplugged thermostat wire and oil indicator wire inside motor also. Still goes off.
