1991 60hp VRO Evinrude - No Spark

It is a 20 amp fuse.-----And has nothing to do with making spark for the plugs.----But some folks will argue I am sure!

did you just replace ... what you found or did you look up the specs on the fuse rating
because an under rated 5amp fuse can blow at the worst moment... just above the falls . :)

^ No the marine tech replaced it, so sure to be correct amp (I was guessing about the amps...).
Statement on diagnosis report said "no power to control box..." due to that blown fuse.

That would be correct.-----No power to the control box.----But if that fuse was blown you could still start that motor with a rope.----In fact that motor can be started with a rope if it has a dead battery.

Hence the reason I always suggest unplugging the box from the motor.

Just a follow-up... the engine ran trouble free over 3 days of fishing at Hilliard's Bay, Lesser Slave Lake, Alberta.
