Re: 1991 35hp Force will not open up to full throtle
As always when a problem pops up, check for spark on both plugs, clean and regap the plugs, check compression, check fuel filter for restrictions/dirt, check to see if the ignition is advancing as you turn up the throttle, check to see if the carb butterfly is opening.<br /><br />Try squirting some fuel ( use a small spray bottle ) into the carb as you try to go full throttle, does the engine accellerate with this extra gas?<br /><br />If these check out ok, I would rebuild/clean the carb.
