1990 Yamaha Pro 50 2-Stroke - trouble starting, now it won't start

where did you find it?
owners manual or service manual?
I don't have either. I'd like to have a service manual for it, but can't find one. Found the clue on this forum here:

Since the fuel enrichment device on the OP's model is not automatic, I withdraw my incorrect comment about it being a Primestart device.

Too many differences with Yams to try and keep tabs on them all.

Looks like LIT-18616-00-35 is the one that would work.

my old 35 Evinrude, had something similar, but it did not rely on a pump, the solenoid itself pushed the fuel.
and had a manual way to operate also if needed.
I just had not run across a Yamaha that had this before


Well I looked at that post from 2016, and do not remember much of what we all wrote, but it seems like Rodbolt never came back to report on if it was automatic or manually operated.

but if Mat gets his to start well with that switch, I guess that is all he needed
