Ok I have a 1990 Yamaha CV30 30hp 2 cylinder single carb motor! It apparently shares the same division as mariner within the late 80s - 90s.
I’m used to working on OMC motors where the carb float stays level upside down.
When I do this to this carb, the needle ( which has some sort of plunger set up) gets stuck and won’t fall back down.
Johnson and Evinrude has a clip to pull the float back down!
I obviously installed a brand new carb kit so my question is what is the proper procedure to set the float height so the needle operates properly! Thank you in advance
