1990 Tracker 17 Pro Deep V

I am hoping someone here can help me find a port side stern "top cap" , "corner cap" (not really sure what they call this part) for a 1990 Tracker 17' Pro Deep V. I was fishing with a buddy's boat last week and while I was filling the gas a wave raised the stern of the boat and dropped it on the dock. The corner/top cap hit the edge of the dock snapping the two rivets and catapulting the metal cap into the lake below. All attempts to fish it out with a net failed.

Since this happened on my watch, I am trying to find a replacement cap for his boat. I tried Tracker and they told me that this part is not stocked and that the supplier has stopped making them. Does anyone know where I could find this part?
