I own the 1990 250 Weekender (per the title).
My boat is 27'6" overall length and has a 9' beam. The engine is 100% below the floor, no "dog house" cover. The only difference between the Sundancer and the Weekender is the top half, where the cabin on the Dancer enters to the left and the Weekender in the middle. This allows for the only difference, the aft cabin. Mine has a storage well. Instead of a raised deck, the Weekend is all one level.
I have been trying to figure this out for a while now... what the heck boat do I have??? There is no 1990 listed on Sea Ray's site, but they do have a 270 from 1992 that is identical to the one I have. All the decals, interior specs, and details are exactly the same. There is no difference. If my 250 is actually almost 28' in length, then the argument of the 250 and the 270 being the same boat makes sense.
The 250 Weekend is ACTUALLY a bigger boat than the 268 Sundancer or the 260 Sundancer. My anchor hangs over on a 30' dock, the 268 and 260 have several feet to play with.
I wish someone had an answer to this, I'd love to know what my boat really is. I just tell people I have a 27' Weekender, because that's what it actually is.
