I went about removeing carb number 2 on my 1990 mercury xr4 because the float was stuck on it so i had to disconect the oil injection linkage arm and a few hoses and stuff so i put it back together no big deal i have it hooked up to a 50:1 gas remote tank and i try and start it i dont get the beep beep when i turn the key then beep beep beep the oil alarm goes off so i try it again and i get the beep beep when i turn key so i turn it over it starts and shuts off and the oil alarm goes off and it wont start now i let it sit for half hour and it does the same thing it wont start and run the motor did sit for about 5 months.
