1990 Johnson GT 200

I need help. I have a Johnson GT 200, 1990 model. It runs OK but for some reason it has a hard time getting out of the hole for the first time of the day. It takes 50 yards to get up on plane. After that it gets up in a couple of boat lengths. Top speed has also dropped from about 5500 to 5000. Any ideas?
