I have put two new VRO pumps on my outboard because the warning no oil alarm keeps going off.But the VRO is puping oil just fine with right amount of pulses per minute. In the Clymers manual the rectifier could be sending a false signal, so I replaced the rectifier, stator and the vacum switch and this made no change in the no oil alarm. As soon as the alarm goes off I unhooked the VRO wiring harness and this silenced the alarm. Could this be a false signal from the Power Pack? I also unhooked the wires from the alarm to see if this a faulty alarm, but with a tester it still showed a signal fron the VRO pump.I'm out of ideas, Please Advise!!!!! Quick

I have the same problem. The beeping only starts when I'm travelling at a low rpm. I'm interested to know if you found a solution.
