I have to pull apart my lower uint to repair the reverse gear or clutch dog in it. I have removed the lower unit before to change the water pump so getting it off is not a problem. But I have never taken apart a lower unit before and I want to know if there is anything I should look out for. I have a spare unit that is good but the shaft is the wrong length and my housing is in better shape so i just want to swap the internal parts. I have a manual on order but I have found they dont always cover everything. Thanks for any help Jason
