THE LAST TWO TIME I WAS ON THE LAKE THE MOTOR WOULD START AND RUN FINE FOR THE FIRST 5 MINS AND THEN IT WOULD START MISSING LIKE IT WAS NOT GETTING GAS. IT WOULD DO THAT FOR A FEW MINS AND THEN IT WOULD RUN REAL GOOD FOR THE REST ON THE DAY. I HAD IT TUNE UP IN MAY.ALSO HAD THE CARB REBUILT TO. COULD IT BE BAD GAS?

Yes, it could. It could also be a cracked coil, (not coiling until it dries-out).
It could be water in a cylinder. Pull the plugs, and see if any of them look like they have never been fired. This would indicate water in that cylinder.
I've read here also, that a Merc with the same symptoms, had a bad stator.

There is a good chance that the water is coming from the bottom of your tank. It has had overnight to accumulate. (condensation) I think a stabilizer mixes with the water and it burns afterwards.
