1990 Force 120 hp won't start

Yesterday, I started the motor and it was running kind of sluggishly. I changed spark plugs, and then it would turn over but not start at all. I put the old plugs back in. Same thing. The motor hasn't started in 4 mos. It was winterized prior to the winter. What's next? Thanks in advance.

The problem is most likely in your carbs. You ay have had it winterized, but the carbs are sensitive things that are easly gummed up. Clean and or rebuild, get fresh high octane gas with NAME BRAND OIL!!!!! Mix to 50:1 and try again. Put your new plugs back in. GOOD LUCK.

Double check the kill switch, made sure you have fuel to the carbs.<br /><br />Then check for spark. Use a spark tester or hold the sparkplug 3/8 inch away from the block and turn the engine over to see if you have spark. Use an insulated pliers to hold the plug. <br /><br />If you have spark:<br />check engine compression.<br /><br />If compression is good, it is a fuel related problem
