1990 Chrysler Force 90HP tilt/trim

Hello-<br /><br />I have a 1990 90hp Chrysler Force outboard motor with power tilt/trim. It all works, except the tilt/trim will not hold the motor, it slowly falls after tilting it up.<br /><br />My mechanic thinks it's the pump... but I can't find parts. Any suggestions??? Thanks!

the cylinders need new "o" rings in it

yup, probably the tilt cylinder. if it's your pump then it would be because water got into the system and rusted the ball valves. no water and the pump lasts forever.
