Update 9-20
with cold temps I decided to move inside and start to put back together the bow pulpit. Before putting back on the aluminum trim, nav light and anchor roller I gave it a quick sand with 1200…. Hit it with Cutting compound and then finished with wax/polish.
started chalky. here’s the before

Also did more prep to the motor mounts today..grinding and sanding what fun😂!
vacuuming the engine bay and a good acetone wash. Ready to continue with glassing in just in case we get some decent temps. 🤞🏻

Update 12-28
Hope all had a wonder Christmas! Been a while since we posted anything.
Made some progress on the starboard side motor mount. 3 layers of progressive lengths of 1700. Im using epoxy so the layup goes smooth. Tied into the transom. I used different small pieces of mat at different angles.

Started today on the port side. Tabbed into the bulkhead then started to work backwards.

since I was using the existing pockets each layer of glass got progressively bigger by 2”. Still have to finish the back half and tie into the transom on the port side motor mount.

More tabbing. With some decent weather FINALLY! I got a chance to tab in the bulkhead aft of the fuel tank. Small steps but progress nonetheless. new fuel tank has been ordered!
