Without a parts diagram to show what part#24 is, not sure what you're looking for. Both marineengine.com and Crowley show part #24 is a gear housing cover w/seal part#FA721706......and is this an L-Drive?
Thanks so much for the responses. I will pass the information on. My friend has had only one kind of luck with this boat and motor so far. Thinking he needs to replace with a more user friendly outboard.
