1990 30 hp crankshaft swap

I have a bad 1991 Johnson 30 HP motor will the crankshaft from it fit a 1984 Johnson 35. The cylinder and crankcase look the same but the 30hp crankshaft center bearing is too large for the 35hp crankcase.

Will the center main bearings swap? I believe the change in the center main was the outer collar, not the bearing itself. If the actual crankshaft dimensions are the same at the center main, you could probably swap the bearings and use that crank.

If not, PM me, as I have a crank out of a 1983 that should work...

Cool I'll try swapping the outer classing to the bearing if it doesn't work I'll contact you about the crank you have.thanks man
