1990 2.3L OMC engine - water temperature sensor location

Hi all,

I'm the proud owner of a renken 1700 with an 2.3L OMC engine.
I replaced all the gauges in my dashboard and want to make the water temperature gauge also working.
This gauge wasn't working in the old dashboard, and the new gauge is also not working.

The only problem is that i can't find the location of the temperature sender unit.
Can you explain me where the sensor is located possible with a picture?
