1990 115 merc 2+2 carb conversion

i am having some start and run issues with the 2+2 motor. was wondering if there is a way to convert this motor to run on all four all the time by retrofitting or replacing the bottom two carbs?

You can do it, but it just makes the engine run worst... Do a search here and you'll find quite a few threads on the subject....
