Hello all, I have found answers to most of the questions that I have had in the forums, but have a few that I haven't come across yet. I picked up an 89 Offshore last week that had a soft floor in it, so I knew a redeck was in order. Of course the flotation foam was saturated so that came out as well. Judging by the gobs of epoxy on several rivets I knew a few rivets would need replacing as well. So onto the questions. My biggest concern is that several of the ribs are cracked, both right in the center and where the stringers are riveted on. I lack the equipment to weld aluminum, and don't have any friends with the ability. Is it something I need to really worry about or should it be ok? I filled the boat to the intersection of the hull and gunwales with water and spotted maybe 20 rivets that are leaking, and there are several others that appear loose that I plan on replacing with the closed end pop rivets dipped in epoxy, maybe 50-100 in total. Am I crazy for not just rebucking since the floor is out anyways? It seems to me that they would loosen again if they are already weakened. I am sure more questions are to come, a lot in the way of wiring is sure to come, the rats nest of wiring and rewiring that has been done is going to be interested. Need to get a picture of the cracked ribs up, but here are a few.

Thanks in advance for any input.
