1989 Sea Ox 23 Cuddy transoms, wood coring or not? Decks?

Does anyone know for sure if either the transoms or decks are cored, probably so. I'm not taking this boat miles offshore so not concerned with the stringers, heard the hulls are "overbuilt" and solid.

first, welcome aboard

nearly all 80's boats have wood in the structure. many boats today still have wood

your boat may have been "overbuilt" when it was new, however it was designed to last 15 years..... and it just past 34.

you should be concerned about the stringers and transom. it is effectively the structure of the boat. sort of like your spine, pelvis and other bones in your body.
