My question is where is the floor drain on this boat? I don't see any physical drain, and when water gets into the boat from rain or washing, it just builds up and very very slowly drains out through "some hole" somewhere. I'm wondering if I have a boat with a drain which is covered by carpet. I don't believe the carpet has ever been replaced but don't see a drain on the inside of the boat on the floor. Any help is appreciated. I'm looking to sell this boat and want to clean it further but water keeps building up on the floor and i have to take a shop vac to get it out. Why doesn't boat drain?

A lot of boats from that vintage did not have self-bailing cockpits. The water seeps into the bilge and gets pumped out. If your deck is below the waterline, it cannot be self-bailing.
If you provide a picture of the interior, we may be able to give you a place to look.
